"I bought this pair a few days before going on a multi-day exploration of national parks out west. I was a bit worried that without breaking these in that I might have an issue. However, these boots survived the 3 days of intense hiking and still felt as comfortable like the first time I tried them on. Plus, this was the only pair that felt the best out of all the ones on display. Lucky me!"

Great Low Hiking Boot!
"I was looking for a really good low hiking boot to use for a lot of activities - hiking, camping, walking, and something I can run in if need be. I am kind of picky. I want the shoe to fit well and be strong and supportive, but still light. And also water resistant. This shoe by Merrell covers all the bases, I recommend it highly."

"Finally convinced my fianc to try some more expensive shoes. Normally he lets them sit in the box for a year before wearing new shoes. These were so comfortable he wore them the same day. He says they are his best shoes yet"

Great Hiking Shoe
"These are an old model, most likely leftover stock, so sizing is limited. Before purchasing these shoes, I did a bunch of research and found that these consistently rank fairly high in comfort and durability. I happened to find them at my local DSW and jumped at the price savings.I have only had the shoes for approximately 30 days, so I can not speak to durability, but they are very comfortable and are perfect for the hiking I do. The vibram soles provide good traction and I am very satisfied with this purchase.I purchased these shoes because of the breath ability of the design/material. Some may prefer the waterproof options which reduce breath ability."
