BEST BOOT EVER!!
"I ONLY WISH I HAD BOUGHT MULTIPLE PAIR!!Ok, let me put this in perspective for you. I can NEVER, (I repeat) NEVER, find wide calf boots that fit me. With 17 inch calves, even most wide calf boots don't fit me, I've tried on dozens over the years, literally dozens(plural). I found this pair in black last year at my local DSW store. Tried them on and they fit like glove. SCORE!!! I got showered with compliments immediately (still do), so I went back a month later and bought the brown pair. I wear these boots EVERY DAY during winter, yes I'm serious, EVERY SINGLE DAY! So that being said, given my frequent wear, my zipper on my black boots wore out too. However, I was unwilling to let someone rip the zipper out to replace it because I knew it would never fit the same. So I took some handy-dandy fishing line and fixed it myself. VOILA, just like new again. This is my second year to wear them, and my only wish is that I would've bought multiple pair. They are comfortable, chic and fit perfectly. Now, let's be real, I spent about a hundred dollars (give or take, with coupons and such) but I wear my boots all the time, so I don't expect them to last me 10 years. If I were only wearing them on infrequent occasions (once a week), I would expect them to last me a lot longer but I wear them all the time, so I expect them to wear out a little bit. I was dissappointed about the zipper, but it was only the top 3 inches of my black pair, so it was an easy fix for me. It hasn't happened on my brown pair at all (because I wear them less frequently).I live in Houston, so I don't have to deal with snow or salted streets. However, I do try to keep the leather conditioned at least once a month and I store all my boots in protective boxes to prevent scuffs. Given that I can't find my size anymore, I want both my black pair and brown pair to last as long as possible. I plan to wear these until the soles fall off.All in all, I would DEFINITELY buy these boots again. If they still had my size "

Looks like plastic rainboots
"When I looked at the picture on the website, they looked so sleek and chick. I love gold accents and I was super excited to get them and when I finally received them, they felt really uncomfortable to walk in. The ankle area is extremely tight so that you can't bend your ankle when you are walking normally. There is a lot of space around the top of the boot and if you are petite like me 5'3 feet, 102 lbs with thin calves, they will make you look unflattering and your legs will look fat and short.Overall, the quality of these boots are extremely cheap considering the price. They look like plastic rain boots that you can get in Walmart. I returned these shoes the same day I got them in the mail."

These boots are made for fixin'
"I fell in love with these boots in brown! They are really gorgeous and perfect for any outfit from jeans to dresses. I justified the price because they seemed like quality boots that could last multiple seasons with proper care. Unfortunately, after two months of babying them (wiping off salt, waterproofing and conditioning the leather) the left zipper started to stick. Then a week later, I realized it wasn't just sticking. The zipper was actually falling apart! My immediate thought was to exchange the boots for another pair, since they were defective. Alas, they were already on clearance! I couldn't find my size available online or in ANY store within a three state radius. Yes, I searched out of desperation! Eventually, I took the boots into a local repair shop and spent $25 to have a new zipper installed. The repair is acceptable, but the zipper doesn't look nearly as nice as it did originally. I'm sure most people don't notice but to me the left boot looks a little shoddy now. Oh, well! I still love the look of these boots but next time I won't be fooled by the price. Higher price tags don't necessarily equal better quality!"
