First Rain Boots
"I admit it- these are my first rain boots ever. I've never been able to wear rain boots before because my calves are relatively big. The traditional knee length rain boots are always too tight or uncomfortable to wear or think about stuffing pants/leggings into. These are great because they're mid-calf and are adjustable. I actually have to use the narrowest setting so these might feel too flappy/unsecure for those with super thin calves. While it takes a couple of wears to get used to, the looseness from the expandable section actually makes it better for walking and going up/down stairs since the lip won't dig into your shins/calves like with other shorter rain boots. Also, the style is great. A non-rain boot looking rain boot. The sole slipping out happens from time to time when you take off the shoe- I think especially since your feet can get a little toasty in them (they ARE made of rubber with no ventilation, after all)- but if you're careful, they only shift slightly and are super easy to put back."

"Love the look of these rainboots, but they're way too big for me. I'm a size 5.5 but I can usually wear a size 6 in boots just fine, however I got the size 6 in these and they are huge (feels more like a 6.5-7) I have to wear really thick socks for them to fit at all, and they look like clown shoes on me. I've rated them as "less comfy" because it's really difficult for me to walk in them, and I'd almost just rather get my feet wet."

Cute rainboots, although narrow in the toe
"I'm usually a size 7 and my feet aren't wide width or narrow, but these rainboots are narrow at the toe and hurt after a full work day's wear, so I recommend sizing up a half size if possible. Other than that, they are very cute, and the buckle makes it look less like regular plain rubber rainboots. The insides have a soft lining that keeps you warm. The soles did slide around very easily after a couple of wears, so I switched them out.I am 5'4 and they rise up to right under my calf. The hidden width can look pretty wide for slimmer legs, especially when they open up automatically while you walk, but they work well for my wider calves. Overall I love these rainboots and recommend them for anyone who are looking for calf-length rainboots."
