Perfect-With Some Modifications!
"Bought 3 colors of these Coconuts boots - kept the black and brown, returned the distressed (this color looked a little like fake leather). Gave it 4 stars because of the work I put into the boots before wearing! Boots are very cute - lower heel and great toe shape - just what I wanted - without breaking the bank! Boots were tight in calf, which I expected because I have bigger calves. Used leather stretch spray in the calf area and in the 'pinky toe' area, several times to make sure they stretched enough. This worked very well. I also oiled the zipper a few times - really helped to make it easier to zip. The biggest modification was in the heel area - the plastic piece inside of the lining, that forms the heel. It was jagged and pushed into the area under my outer ankle bone. I made a 3 " cut in the lining, up and down, above this area, so I could get to the plastic piece, and trimmed the plastic heel piece down quite a bit. Now they are very comfortable! This is a lot to go through but worth it - now I have 2 pairs of very comfortable, cute and affordable boots."

They're really big in the shaft!!
"I bought these because they looked awesome online and they're wide calves. I measured my calves at the widest part and it's around 14.5" to 15" (at 15 it's a little loose but i figured that'd be more comfortable), so i figured these should be fine. I'm 5'5" so i'm not super short (not super tall either). Got these in the dark brown colorway in 7.5M(i'm a 7W or 7.5M, i have very short feet that fits 6.5 to 7 but it's kinda wide which is why i normally have to size up). When it arrived and I put it on, I immediately knew there was gonna be a problem. 1) it's taller than I expected. While it didn't hit the crease of my knees, it was only an inch or so below it and thus still made bending my legs a little awkward. 2) they are REALLY WIDE. Apparently I over estimated how thick my legs are because these gape so much all around. Even in jeans that are wide pant leg (ie not skinny jeans), even with the extra fabric, there was still a gape at the top. For the height of the shaft, I think the makers forgot that most people's wides part of the leg is at the CALVES and it usually tapers a bit before the knees. 3) they look awfully like rain boots somehow. It might be also because of how large they are on me, but in the dark brown colorway with the shape of the shoe portion of it, and then with the gape at the top, I looked like I was wearing those knee high rain boots/mud boots for a day in the Florida marshes.I REALLY really wanted to love these. The leather is quite soft but not so soft that i feel like I'm going to rip it. The dark brown is lovely rich chocolate. The foot is roomy and comfy (the 7.5M allowed me to wear medium thick socks easily). Sadly there are just too many cons to these that I can't justify keeping them at all. That said, these are probably LOVELY on the really tall ladies!"
