*Your pronation type is determined by the natural motion your feet apply throughout your running gait. When you pronate your foot rolls from either the outer edge, inner edge or not at all. If your foot rolls to the outer edge when you run, you are an underpronator, if it rolls to the inner edge you are a overpronator and if your foot doesn't roll at all you are a neutral or stable runner.

comfy, if a bit tight
"I currently deal with plantar's fasciitis on one foot, and also have high insteps. This shoe is a comfort to both, but they squeeze my forefoot. Bummer is that it is only available in a M width, even from the manufacturer. If you have zero issues with a M width, you'll be okay."

Nice wide toebox
"I've been a longtime New Balance fan, but never really felt like their shoes "worked" for my over-pronation and crooked toes. I've been wearing these Brooks for light jogging and walking a few times a week for over a month and I'm going to buy another pair. Very comfy for the price!"

"I have fallen arches, narrow feet, bunions, and I'm a pretty severe overpronator, all of which makes finding comfortable shoes very, very difficult. I've had extremely bad luck with running shoes in the past. I did a little research on these before buying them and they live up to their promise, for sure. The upper part of the shoe was a bit snug at first but it is loosening up as I break them in. The footbed is amazing with great arch support and the sole is both firm and cushy making for a very comfortable run. Also, the material that the soles are made of is really grippy which is nice."

Great workout shoes
"I needed a new pair of workout shoes , so headed over to DSW to try some on. I have been wearing Nike for the past several years when it comes to my workout shoes...had tried other brands, but found them all too wide for my apparent narrow feet. I noticed these Brooks and tried them on a whim. I couldn't believe how comfortable they were...like walking on clouds. I have worn them to my workout classes and they do the trick. While running today, I had a woman tell me she had the same shoes and "aren't they the best? Like running on a mattress!" So I guess that's two positive reviews wrapped in one!"
