*Your pronation type is determined by the natural motion your feet apply throughout your running gait. When you pronate your foot rolls from either the outer edge, inner edge or not at all. If your foot rolls to the outer edge when you run, you are an underpronator, if it rolls to the inner edge you are a overpronator and if your foot doesn't roll at all you are a neutral or stable runner.

Sturdy shoe.
"For the price ASICS Gel Venture 4 is not a bad shoe. Very sturdy and durable. Well built. Looks good. Well ventilated. Fit is good and very comfortable. Not too narrow or too wide. True to size. For running, the cushioning is a little firm for my taste, but it is a personal preference when it comes to running shoes. More for neutral runners. For true trail running the sole is not as grippy for some loose surfaces. Also, I think it is a running shoe better fit for the road. Not the best as a true trail running shoe, but for the occasional run, walking, and hiking the shoe is great."
